Re: Boot does not lock

Re: Boot does not lock

There's no need to disable KESSY. People who aren't carrying the car fob in person won't be able to open the boot. I find KESSY very useful, especially when wanting to load my shopping in the car. I don't have to fish for the car fob.

Re: Dash Cam~ Hard wiring. Detailed instructions/suggestions!

Hello All, Have been reading the existing entries here on Dash cam wiring ,All seem to miss the vital point of how to access the Fuse box / panel in the first instance. I have no problems with the connections as NextBase have provided a useful piggy back system for a fuse. Securely installing the c...

Re: Wind Whistle at 50mph and above. Drivers side UK

I had a similar experience once; turned out that the window in the driver's side wasn't fully closed all the way up. Worth checking all the windows.

Re: Heated washer jets

Don't you have a heated windscreen? When I bought my Kodiaq, the heater washer jets came only with heated windscreen (or that's what I thought).

Re: JUST GOT MY KODIAQ TODAY

For Apple CarPlay, you'll need to connect your iPhone via USB to the front USB port (where the little area for the phone is situated. Appke CarPlay and Android Auto are designed for your phone to not be used while driving, so you won't be able to use your phone normally when connected. It's a safety...

Re: Is Diesel a bad idea (based in UK)

Thanks for all the input everyone! I do about 12k pa - mainly commuting to a small city and then carting 3 kids around at weekends. No towing and as I am planning on buying new and keeping for 10 years I'm weighing towards the petrol. Petrol is perfect for your needs. Only last month, I drove aroun...

Re: Auto hold and parking brake help

Thanks! It's sorted now!

I love it personally. In conjunction with ACC, the car crawls in traffic automatically.

Auto hold and parking brake help

My Kodiaq always switched on auto hold at traffic lights and parking brakes when turning the engine off. I took it to Skoda yesterday to replace the plastic trims near the front wheel arches that was jutting out a bit. Since then, they've both stopped coming on automatically! I looked at the setting...

Re: Question about roof bars

Questions: Would the Thule 757 foot system work on the Kodiaq's roof rails? Is there a benefit to having the WingBars if I have no plans to leave them on semi-permanently? (or: will I regret going for something simpler just for occasional use?) I would certainly recommend wing bars because they're ...
