Re: Should I inform my insurance company?

Thanks, this is very useful. Tesco said a company called Sopp and Sopp will be in touch with me to take things further. Sopp and Sopp contacted me and are arranging the repairs. Looking at their website, they don't appear to be an insurance company. Am I right?

There are some scratches as a result. I have informed a Tesco employee who has taken the pictures and taken my details. He said he wil...

Re: Skoda roof bars or Thule

Aerodynamic roof bars (wingbars) are definitely the way to go. It is noisy during certain motorway drives, but certainly not as noisy as the non aerodynamic ones.

Re: ACC behavior when car in front changes lanes

That is precisely why I do not want ACC on my car! You come to rely on it, until it plays up, and who knows what then! It's meant as an aid, not to replace the driver. As with many driving aids, you have to be prepared to intervene if the tech doesn't do its job. The vast majority of my journey was...
