Re: Thule roof rack for Kodiaq

Having bought some skoda bars for my previous yeti, that i ended up having to resell independantly to the car, I chose not to make that mistake again. I bought some thule wingbars, and as per Stevie here above, i find them brilliant. They are sturdy, easy to put on, and at least i'll be able to reus...

Re: Rear traffic alert and blind spot monitoring switching off

HI there, So I seem to be one of those who suffer from the same issue. My dealer has been pretty clueless. Are you saying that it is a 'control unit' or is it THE control unit (i.e. is there more than one?) and have you had it changed (under warranty one would hope...) and has it sorted the issue? T...

Re: Rear traffic alert and blind spot monitoring switching off

Ditto... As Jon, my kodiaq Edition has been suffering from blind spot monitoring and rear assist deactivation. Dealer (Trans City, East London) has been unable to sort it out so far.

I am not impressed...

Re: Door protection thingy. Gripped.

Dealer checked the car last monday and confirmed he was reordering the whole mechanism... Also confirmed they were on back orders and none are currently in the UK.... and that they are in high demand all over europe...

Problem is common apparently....

Worth keeping an eye on...

Re: Skoda Connect

OK, so having now discovered https://skoda-connect.com/portal/en_GB/web/guest/login , this all now makes a lot more sense... This news feed from AFP seemed a bit silly in the online news app... now looking much better. Online alarm activation, not working for me but probably due to alarm not having ...

Re: How to get 4G to feed the infotainment/hotspot?

If you haven't got the sim card in the columbus, wouldn't it be better to get something like an EE car WiFi unit and plug it into the rear cigarette lighter socket, freeing the USB slot for something else Yup that's gonna have to be the solution. The back cigarette lighter was saved for my son's ip...

Re: Gestures on 9.2" Columbus?

Gestures sounds like a disaster , hopefully it's better then the waving your foot under the rear of the car to open the boot... Once you know how to do this (most people do it wrong to begin with) it works really well, you don’t even need to be central or ‘kick’ dead straight. agreed. Really happy ...

Re: How to get 4G to feed the infotainment/hotspot?

So.... either I am 'neurone challenged', or the VW Car Stick is a no.... Not recognized says the infotainment system... Light on the stick is green which means connected to 3g.... Will try again today but will probably have to return it, and wait for the same part number with C at the end to be avai...

Re: Jungle Green in the UK

There's only a few of us having ordered early on, that got it... Not wanting to rub salt into wounds but the car looks amazing in that colour... Veers from greyish in cloudy weather to nearly goldfish in very sunny weather. Really cool. Really happy I changed last minute from lava blue to it... but ...

Re: Engine remap 1.4tsi

This thread is turning a bit nasty... We are entitled to our own opinions, Colin. I chose the 1.4tsi knowing it might be a bit wheezy and it is. If I can get a little boost on the cheap, it's my choice, I am not asking you to join a cult here... (though I do realize that we are not on PistonHeads, w...
