Re: RaceChip XLR - Pedal Box just arrived

I found no change in consumption on my 1.4 DSG Kodiaq (2017). Have you tried 'RACE +'? If not put your head on the headrest before giving it full 'beanz'. Interesting that you went for the app version. Seems a lot of faffing about to set up. I fixed the controller by my right knee with no cable show...

Re: 2018 Import (Uk->Ireland) with no service history

Ask to see the V5C (reg document to check previous owner. How many owners etc. If there is ANY reluctance/excuse to not show you. WALK AWAY! Personally I would do full research on it before parting with any money. If you are in the Republic, you should be aware that any Skodas officially in Ireland ...

Re: 2018 Import (Uk->Ireland) with no service history

Welcome to the forum. Try contacting Skoda Customer Service to see if they can shed any light on it. 0333 003 7504. Are you buying it privately or from a Skoda dealer? If you decide to risk it (I fSUK can't help) I would beat them down on whatever they are asking. If it is from a non Skoda dealer I ...

Re: Skoda Kodiaq does not fall under the fixed pricing servicing?

Here you are, with prices. https://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/servicing-maintenance-fixed-price No mention of excluding ANY model. I have just booked first year service for my Karoq at Meadens Brockenhurst their price is £175 £10 CHEAPER than Skoda's quoted price. Talk to you dealers service manager. Qu...

Re: Buying my first Kodiak Edition ?

Hello Fresher, Welcome to the forum. The 1.5 engine is a fantastic unit. You need have no fear regarding the dreaded 'Kanga'. This only occurred on engines made in the first 6 months of '18. My Kodiaq was the 6th on U.K. roads in '17 and had the 1.4 engine. So I have no knowledge of the 1.5 in the K...

Re: Color Selection

Lava blue is rather soft and marks badly according to my dealer. If you want blue then you will have to splash out and go for Petrol or race blues.
I wouldn't have grey if you paid me, but that is purely a personal choice. (Many people are very happy with Business grey)
