Push the wiper stalk AWAY from you and hold it whilst in reverse and the washer should squirt while the rear wiper and its washer also leap into action.

I agree with Silverbear and old and grumpy. Perhaps it is because we are all members of the old farts club. Our days of charging about have passed. Skoda will take a dim view of your car being serviced by anyone other than a Skoda dealer, but in law, you can have it serviced anywhere as long as the garage uses GENUINE Skoda parts, which of course they will have to buy from the nearest Skoda dealer.
