Re: Breakdown and Roadside assistance

I have a favourite repairer if I'm paying and I use Aviva body shop for any claim work. (otherwise they hit me with a £200 'fine') So far they have been faultless. SWMBO was insured with Lloyds (bank) and of course they are only agents for an unnamed insurance company. Therefore an 'Ensurance situat...

Endurance and any other similar........ Minor nit-pick, it's actually "En S urance", but I'm a pedant! My humble apple-o-gees!! 'Fat finger' syndrome. S next to D on qwerty keyboard. Feel free to nit-pick. You will have a long way to go to be as pedantic as I am! Full aware as I joined ...

Re: Breakdown and Roadside assistance

Endurance and any other similar. system is a waste of time and will ensure aggravation and possible extra costs to the policy holder even if hidden. Your insurance company has entered into an agreement with the policy holder to handle at and all claims. Why cloude the waters by involving yet another...

Re: Hello and not a great start

No. My many years experience of having dealings with Skoda (and Ford, for that matter) are that once they've got your money, then they'll treat you like a dog does its fleas. Sorry but until you get rid of your car then you're in for a world of pain  [/quote] Oh Ye of little faith!. I don't k...

Thanks. Found the link after I posted.

AA patrol reached us within about 15 minutes of calling up!

Quick tip for myself - Don't leave the dashcam switched on if the car won't be driven every day.
Don't forget the centre console 12v socket is PERMANENTLY LIVE!

Re: Kamiq Brochure and configurator available

'When did Skoda start making cars? Skoda was established in 1859 under the name Laurin & Klement. This puts Skoda amongst some of the oldest car manufacturers alongside Daimler, Opel, Peugeot and Tatra. The company first started making bicycles and then moved to motorcycles' In WWII they were force...

Re: Kamiq Brochure and configurator available

Dacia do not (as far as I know) do an automatic and they are basically Renaults which immediately makes it an absolute NO for me. I'm afraid the reliability of PSA cars and Renault is not very good. I must admit to being a borderline badge snob. Skoda were not so long ago seen as the poor mans VW, b...

Re: Kamiq Brochure and configurator available

You all seem to agree with me. I think Skoda are going to 'bop a drollok' on the Kamiq.
Add a P roof to it and it's WAY OTT.
Definitely not for me!
