Honest John (the Telegraph motoring columnist has published the following on his website https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/coronaviru ... nd-owners/# "I'm planning to self-isolate for three months, how do I store my car? Re: Sportsline - AWD?

In the UK, all Sportslines come with 4x4 AWD, but the 1.5 TSI engine isn't offered.

Check the Danish configurator and price and spec documents to see whether the 1.5 TSI engine comes with Front Wheel Drive or 4x4.

'Twas tongue in cheek, as I assume you realised.

They do better storms than we do out there.....!
Fair enough, and yes I've been out there in a gite with hailstones the size of golf balls bouncing off my car!

But perhaps some emojis would confirm your meanings ;)

Re: Storm Dennis

Of course! What did you expect? 18 months ago, drove out of Marseille in mine, in a storm of similar evilhood, horizontal rain by the bucket load. Autoroute like a river, never felt safer, apart from the other cars, driven by Frenchies, of course! It's a decent car....☺️ So no one else can drive we...

Re: BW48 Changes

Ah ok :) Thank you. Personally I don't believe electric cars are the environmental answer people claim them to be. I accept that they transfer the pollution to a power station, but if that takes it away from city streets or clogged motorways - ideally to a nonpolluting wind-powered generator it has...
