Re: SEL supplied without front parking sensors

Thanks for the responses. Checking via the MySkoda app the production date was 22nd May confirming it is a MY2019 and was clearly not "just leaving the factory" as I was told by the dealer. I am currently waiting for them to come back to me around fitting the front sensors which they seem to accept...

The SE does have a chrome surround on part of the front grille which I note on my 6 month old car is not faring well.
However, the chrome round my front grille is perfect after 18 months. Could it be a matter of what wash/wax you use? For me it's Halfords Wash/Wax.
Me too.

Re: USB Ports on the dash

Is this a car you own or have to give back? I own mine but still can't imagine making holes in anything and a car purchased on PCP might need permission from the owner to modify.

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

Most styling things date eventually. One of my pet hates, seen on many cars, is what I can best describe as fake exhaust pipes incorporated into the rear bumper. A closer look reveals no exhaust pipe. Quite what these are for I do not know and don't get me started on the fancy shapes some tail pipes...

Re: scored and rusty brake discs

When I wash my car I notice that by morning the discs are pretty uniformly brown with a thin layer of rust and as I pull away from the house there is a noticeable judder as the pads are released. I've not noticed this so much with previous cars. I live in the south east of England and many 10's of m...

Re: Aviva Insurance - 'Computer says no' to my 5 seater

Don't they simply get the car spec from the registration plate? Mine do. * *Yes they do but since my last Karoq, last year was an SE L and the current one is an Edition, I'm assuming they would have picked that up and as the Edition has more tech than the SE L and a mandatory panroof, I would have t...

Re: Petrol Blue Kodiaq

When picking the colour for the bear I got sold by the marketing, petrol blue on a beach, and the greys & silvers just said Co. car to me. But if we all thought the same it would be a boring world. Mine is silver and not a company car. A Superb says company car to me, it never occurred to me when b...

Re: Petrol Blue Kodiaq

I love that colour combo and have had 2 Skodas in petrol and beige leather. Foxtrot Alpha won't agree. ;) Looks good. The photos are in bright sunlight. What's it like under an overcast sky? More typical in the UK? In typical 'grungy' British weather it goes quite dark, but I think it's worth...

Re: Is this L&K in Brilliant Silver or Business Grey?

Well I have a silver Kodiaq and I'm not sure. The lighting is difficult. I would say I think my car is, well, more silvery than this. If I had to guess I would say that it is not silver. If you look at the parts you know to be silver, like the roof rails and the window trim, the paint looks a little...
