Re: Nearly New Kodiaq's

What exactly does 'nearly new' mean? Is it under a year old with 10,000 miles on the clock or do you mean pre-registered/ex-demonstrator or simply just pre-built and in stock? We needed a new car ASAP and purchased our Kodiaq from a list the local Skoda dealership held which were pre-built models i...

Re: Nearly New Kodiaq's

I would talk to your nearest dealer, they can search all of the UK stock cars and will be able to work out which ones have the digital dash. When I was buying my car, my only absolute must have was the factory fitted towbar (for trailer and bike carrier) and the dealer was able to work out which car...

Re: Adblue range

Much like J-R, once again reviving this thread to share my first Adblue top up experience. My car had covered around 4600 miles when it first warned me that the Adblue would run out in 1500 miles and I should top up, so similar to others and estimating around 6000 miles range to empty. Initial estim...

Re: Questionnaire about Kodiaq ride quality

539942.jpg So what's "daft" about this? 🤔 O&G, Nothing at all, it's all in the eye of the beholder though and each to their own... That said, I'm not sure about the trim bits on the B and C pillars on your car (assuming that's yours) - with the black roof rails and window surrounds it looks like th...

Re: Launch control

All I have to say is....... WHY?? . Want a sports car? Buy a sports car! Want a wrecked transmission? Keep using launch control until something snaps! :o I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the warranty claim discussion when somebody claims a new gearbox because he has constantly used launch co...

Re: Launch control

Not 100% sure about this, but it would seem it's not just the petrol models. Check out the following (apologies for the dodgy backing track!):

Re: Medical Emergency

Thankfully for all those wondering what would happen if you pulled the electronic handbrake whilst travelling at motorway speed, thankfully you don't need to test it on your own car as those nice people at Top Gear's Extra Gear programme tested it for you in a Golf R. Seeing as that's a VAG product ...

Re: Racechip GTS

There's another (very bad) Skoda forum out there where the chipping / modding of vehicles is promoted as being the best thing sinced sliced bread. To me, it doesn't seem to be a coincidence that those doing the promoting are forum sponsors and those who dare to swim against the tide get banned. Hey...

Re: Hard to decide between Kodiaq and 5008

Let’s face it you will get more of a negative review of the 5008 than the Kodiaq on a Kodiaq forum but for once I think most people here are correct. As it happens, I’m not really a fan of the 5008 interior, more style over substance and feels quite claustrophobic compared to many. I also think the...
