The usual causes are either womens' handbag handles when getting out of the car, or children grabbing the door edge to close the door.
Makes sense. I'll have to mention this to the crew and ask everyone to be more careful around our delicate new car. :?

Re: Door protection thingy. Gripped. UPDATE. Page 5.

Hi JR, From the manual, page 65. › Insert» Fig. 59 a new protective strip in groove in direction of arrow. › Open the door approximately 15 cm wide and push in the strip. Otherwise, it is not possible to close the door and there is a risk of damage to the strip and the door. The guard will not push...

Re: Door protection thingy. Gripped. UPDATE. Page 5.

My 2019 Kodiaq is less than four months old and the driver door guard thing jammed this morning for the first time - the door wouldn't close! As mentioned here, I pulled it off so that I could close the door. Later, I tried pushing back in place. Nothing seems broken and the piece slipped back into ...

Do you mean these, mine came with 2 supplied and I bought another 2 for a tenner as they’re so handy.
Oh, wow, thanks for including that pic - I also got these and had no idea what they were for. Thanks Kenny!

Re: Adblue range

Reviving this thread to share my first AdBlue refill experience. My Kodiaq is 3.5 months old and has driven 6500 km (4000 miles). I started getting the AdBlue refill warning a couple of weeks ago (starting with an indication of 2400 km range remaining). Today, it said 1700 km range remaining and tha...

Re: Coolant

the phone charging pad has been hit and miss since the start. Is your phone in a protective case? That might be interfering. My Samsung S7 charges consistently with no problem in the charging "box" - it gets very hot during charging, but searching online informed me that this is normal. Good luck. JR

Think I'd be interested in a retrofit on the key, too. Sounds like it's the perfect solution.
Me as well.

I suppose a big draw for the Kodiaq is the 7 seats.
Yep. This is the only reason we got the Kodiaq - it was up against Nissan X-Trail, etc.

With the Karoq now available, I would think Skoda would stop making the 5-seat Kodiaq altogether.

Re: kessy key got wet now the buttons don't work

If it remained wet and closed for a few days before disassembling/drying, it could very well be dead for good (sorry). Let us know if you manage to bring it back.
