I suppose a big draw for the Kodiaq is the 7 seats.
Yep. This is the only reason we got the Kodiaq - it was up against Nissan X-Trail, etc.

With the Karoq now available, I would think Skoda would stop making the 5-seat Kodiaq altogether.

Re: kessy key got wet now the buttons don't work

If it remained wet and closed for a few days before disassembling/drying, it could very well be dead for good (sorry). Let us know if you manage to bring it back.

Re: Start/stop......it's now driving me nuts!

I've had start/stop on my last two cars which had manual gearboxes, the start/stop only worked when you took the car out of gear and applied either the foot brake or handbrake, which is typically when you know you're going to be stuck at the lights for some time. Happy days that works great. It is ...

Re: ACC behavior when car in front changes lanes

There are plenty of drivers who aren’t careful and vigilant. If more of them used ACC then maybe we wouldn’t see so many collisions on the motorway where drivers manage to drive into the back of each other. I just don't see this happening - the ACC will jam on the breaks faster than a human to prev...

Re: ACC behavior when car in front changes lanes

I hear what you guys are saying. I consider myself a good and careful driver. Using ACC and active lane assist does not mean I am not paying attention or shirking my responsibility as a driver. However, I very much appreciate the convenience that these technologies provide, and I enjoy using them. I...

Re: ACC behavior when car in front changes lanes

I was not familiar with the term undertaking before, but while searching online it appears that this is a term used particularly in the UK (correct me if I am wrong). As I've spent my life living between USA and Israel, I have never heard of the term and I am not aware of any such law in these two c...

ACC behavior when car in front changes lanes

Hi all, I've noticed a consistent (and annoying) glitch with the adaptive cruise control (which I love and use a lot): when the car in front of me is driving more slowly than the ACC max speed I've set, the Kodiaq slows down (of course) to keep a safe distance behind that car. However, when that car...

Re: Wing mirror dropping in reverse

I have the same problem as JR. I’ve set my memory seats and mirrors, select reverse and passenger mirror dips but maybe 1 in 15 times it reverts back to normal. I usually have to press the memory seat number to get it back to normal. You described my situation exactly. I disabled the feature in Set...

Re: Do you have any of these SuperSkoda accessories?

The moulded rubber Skoda mats are excellent. I wanted to get these, but they're not available in my country and SuperSkoda's shipping cost to here was twice the price of the mats themselves! Any suggestions?! that adjustable arm rest Now that I've got the hang of it (thanks to the tips in this thre...
