Re: Auto Braking - Fault Motorway

Are we all talking about the same thing? ... Has anyone actually had AEB save them from certain accident? It must happen. Yes. I mean, I can't say for sure that I would not have braked in time in one case I recall, but I was pleased to see that the AEB prevented me from hitting the car in front of ...

Re: Auto Braking - Fault Motorway

In nine months having the car, it only emergency braked twice, and both times it was for a good reason. Having said that, it is very jarring!

I did mention you could carry out adjustments earlier in this thread....
Yes you did! I missed it. A picture would have been very helpful.

Re: Coolant

Update: My Kodiaq's first scheduled service (at 15,000 km) was yesterday. I told them about the coolant warning that came up last month and that I had to top up the coolant level - on a brand new car. I asked them if this might indicate a leak in the system. The mechanic told me probably not, that t...

Re: Door protection thingy. Gripped. UPDATE. Page 5.

No good! Just a couple days later and the driver's door won't close again. Piece of junk, if you ask me. Will ask the dealer to take a look at it when I'm there for my first service. The other three doors are still working OK. Update: My Kodiaq's first scheduled service (at 15,000 km) was yesterday...

Re: Racechip GTS

For anyone who is interested, here is the end of the story: I tested the device more carefully on its various settings and I determined that it IS functioning, in terms of magnifying or diminishing the engine revs for any given position of the accelerator pedal. However, no matter which setting is s...

Re: Amber warning triangle

My tyre pressure warning light seems to be on almost every other week and never yet found anything wrong with my tyre pressure to be honest. Different experience in my case -- I live in an area with lots of construction that, unfortunately, leads to a screw or nail appearing embedded in my tires ev...

Re: Coolant

So this morning my coolant warning light comes on. Checked and coolant level is low. Just gone past the 8,000 mile mark. I have had several new cars before and never needed to add coolant before at such and early stage. In fact, I think the only previous car I have ever had to add coolant has been ...

Re: Canton Sound System?

Still canton is waaaaaay better than standard system. Standard system is totally crap...the worst I ever heard...so if possible take the canton...set the mode to DRIVER and voila... I have the standard sound system and I enjoy listening to MP3 music in the car, and I think it's fine. It's certainly...
