Re: Skoda Connect

Email just received from Skoda Customer Services. Thank you for your email regarding the ŠKODA Connect System. We are currently working on an update to the ŠKODA Connect system and on some occasions to make improvements we have to temporarily take down some services. The Vehicle Health Report will b...

Re: Kodiaq bling

Gosh! something the poor man's Karoq has that the upmarket Kodiaq doesn't. Frankly I would swap the puddlelights (in the doors, not the mirrors) of the Karoq for the gas strut bonnet of the Kodiaq instead of the peasant version piece of thick wire on the Kroq. Personally I find those lights look ch...

Re: Kodiaq bling

Thanks for sharing but most of that makes me shudder. It reminds me of a mate in the 80’s who had a ‘Cossie’ Sierra and fitted every possible extra bit of tat he came across...including hanging dice of course I agree, to quote Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe “less is more”, unless it’s a Kodiaq SE. But th...

Re: Skodiaq Door edge protection

I agree entirely with the spare wheel. Luckily my Karoq (was the service managers 'smoke' for 1300 miles) had one. The gunge kit is ridiculous. Once used you have to buy a new tyre as the gunge has a deleterious effect on the rubber inside the tyre. so for the average Kodiaq tyre thet is about £150...

Re: VAG admit problem with 1.5 EVO engine

Hot off the press!!!! SEAT have today received a recall notice stating that “There is a danger to customers due to loss of power”. This is for the 1.5TSI engine which covers all VAG vehicles. Got a copy from a very close friend who is a SEAT Master Tech and his dealership are contacting customers a...

Re: Tyre repair kit

Has anyone experience of using tyre repair gunk? SWMBO's Rapid is now due to have the Skoda issued "gunk" replaced and I see that there are several alternatives available from Halfords etc. to the very expensive Skoda marketed stuff. Is it false economy to go for the cheaper alternatives?

Re: Skoda Connect

Is it just my Skoda Connect Vehicle Health Report that isn't working, or is it everyone's?

Sounds to me like you got someone else's car, and they have got yours!
