Re: Passenger windscreen jet washer stopped working

So I’ve removed the washer and took the jet housing off, I blew into it and neither of them blow clearly! Is this the issue? Assuming I should be able to insert a thin wire all the way through the jet wash housing? Not with the fan type washer jets, lots of very small jets rather than a single jet....

Re: Dash Cam date reverts to factory setting

:o BARGAIN!!! What make/model? I was only joking of course, I just thought it might make a Yorkshireman gulp :D It's an Azdome GS65H @ £60. It's meant more for lift sharers and taxi drivers, so rear passengers can be filmed in case they try and make false claims against the driver. Phew! You had me...

Re: Dash Cam date reverts to factory setting

Mine isn't an interior view camera. It has a long focus lens so it picks up the exterior view through the back window. Cannot see the rear passengers unless one is sitting in the middle back seat, in which case their head blocks the rear view, not a problem 99% of the time.

Re: Dash Cam date reverts to factory setting

By the way, I now have a new GPS dash cam installed, which is plugged into the USB port because that's the fitting on the lead. It switches on and off with the ignition and the time and date is correct each time. :D It will be interesting to see whether the GPS keeps the time and date correct when ...

Re: Dash Cam date reverts to factory setting

DST box unticked now and time is back to normal. I do have the correct time zone dialled in. I'm gonna leave it alone now and see what happens when the clocks go back. :o I think this isn't going to work. We are still in Summer Time so your DST should be ticked, and then you should manually set the...

Re: Front Lower Spoiler

A written complaint to Skoda U.K. is essential. Somebody at the dealership should loose his job over this! When I signed up a few weeks ago, there was a post by Colin Lambert which stated in red letters no less, PLEASE put your location in your profile. Ouch! But very few people do! ☹️

Re: New Kodiaq, New member!

Kenny, the extract from the manual that you show says the the AEB only REDUCES the impact consequences. It does not claim to eliminate them. I interpret this as saying that scratches and dents from parking bumps when reversing are likely if the AEB is trusted implicitly. And it only applies to rever...

Re: New Kodiaq, New member!

Does the SE L MY21 have emergency braking as standard (AEB?) Will it stop me /wife driving forward into a wall when parking? As far as I am aware all models have emergency braking as standard, but it's not designed to prevent slow speed bumps as when parking. I think it only operates above a minimu...
