Re: AUTO DIPPING IN REVERSE

Can't help much I'm afraid, my "poverty spec" Kodiaq doesn't have auto dipping mirror. From what I remember from my previous Superb which did have it you set the mirror position whilst in reverse and the system remembers that position. From page 87 of the digital manual, Storing front passenger´s ex...

Re: AUTO DIPPING IN REVERSE

My auto dipping works fine, seem to remember reading something about leaving the mirror adjustor in the left position. But it works every time, I love it! You are correct Steven T. From the digital manual, " Tilting the mirror area of the front passenger mirror (vehicles with electrically adjustabl...

Is this a Skoda thing or just the group that my dealer is part of. I raised this issue on...

Re: Insurance with XLR

Aviva don't load at all and you could have quoted my policy number. I sent them the URL, they read it and were quite happy that it DID NOT AFFECT PERFORMANCE!!! It merely removes the very annoying throttle delay on the Kodiaq (1.4 DSG) They neither loaded my premium nor imposed any other rules. It ...

Re: Insurance with XLR

Old and Grumpy: with a throttle box (aka pedal box) there is no effect on performance, just how the performance is delivered That's the point I was making. In the perception of the insurer the change in the way "the performance is delivered" is seen as a modification that they are not prepared to i...

Re: Insurance with XLR

So there is an effect on performance, despite what Racechip told the OP. Whether that effect is detrimental to the insurer's interests is debatable, but ABC/LV obviously think it is.

Re: Insurance with XLR

If no effect on performance or engine output why on earth do you want to fit it?

Re: Rear Disks and Pada

Yes. If I press the ignition button and my foot is not on the brake pedal, the ignition is switched on. If my foot is on the brake, the engine starts. What happens if you press the START/STOP button with no foot on the brake and the DSG in PARK, then press down the Parking Brake button? The red par...
