Re: Winter tyres in the UK - worth it or not?

All of which seems to confirm my belief that Michelin Cross Climate on a Kodiaq are probably the best all year compromise for most of us. All depends on if it's worth the cost. Prices fitted for a 20" clossclimates averages out at £225 per wheel (only a quick search so probably cheaper elsewhere bu...

Re: Winter tyres in the UK - worth it or not?

I seem to remember seeing somewhere, (one of the car review websites I think), that 2WD with winter tyres will outperform 4WD with summer tyres. I certainly intend to replace my standard Pirellis with Michelin Cross Climates when the time comes.

Re: Canton Sound System?

Still canton is waaaaaay better than standard system. Standard system is totally crap...the worst I ever heard...so if possible take the canton...set the mode to DRIVER and voila... Strange! I listen to Classic FM, (on DAB), on the standard system and the quality is certainly not crap. That's more ...

Re: 1.5 TSI Update Please

It's happened with three cars so doubt it is a calibration issue. My guess is that machine learning AI systems will eventually better predict when AEB is required. At the moment the technology I suspect is not there yet. Could it just be a matter of adjusting the sensitivity of the AEB? From new mi...

Re: 1.5 TSI Update Please

I sometimes have the AEB warning light up - it happened twice last week for the first time in months for no good reason (no cars about). However it has only ever decided to apply the brakes once for me, and that was rounding a motorway slip road at motorway speeds to find a completely stationary mo...

1. when someone states that a comment I made has no validity “Who cares what's "on trend"?” 2. I watched you and these others have a go at another person on here in a recent thread and you had the audacity to call him a troll. 3. For reference my PMs are not turned off as I have received them from ...
