Re: Moving to Skoda!

Has anyone any experience of using Michelin Cross Climate tyres with 2WD Kodiaqs? Yep, Just collected my Kodiaq in December and it has now done 1000 miles. As previously reported on this forum, I had the tyres swapped before collection and had CrossClimates fitted. they have always been brilliant o...

Re: Breadface has ripped my door protector off!

Despite the facetious feedback of fellow members, I found this interesting and informative. many thanks for taking the time to write your post.

PS - LOL @ "Breadface" in the title...I thought it was one of my daughter's cartoons...

Try to find a plastic bumper refurbisher in your area. I know they do exist as there is one in Poole. It just might be cheaper than buying and fitting new.
Thanks Colin, will have a look

Re: Dented door, less than a month old!

Thanks for the replies everyone that’s really helpful and the sympathies are also appreciated. It always seems to happen to me within a few weeks of collection, all of my cars in the last few years have had a minor or major scrape shortly after and then have gone for 5 to 10 years trouble-free. I wi...

Dented door, less than a month old!

Okay, so I parked in an end space a week ago and when I returned at the end of the day some bell**d in a battered fiesta had shoehorned right up against me not in a space. I have no idea how they got out although looking at the paint-free edge of their door I can imagine! It was dark so when I got h...

Re: Instrument cluster plastic scratched up

I have used Unipol and Polywatch successully on previous cars, admittedly Audi and VWs, so can’t vouch specifically for Skoda. (These are fantastic on the external vertical shiny plastic trim on the doors btw). If you do decide to give it a go, the key is to use a clean microfibre and not to press t...

Re: Scratches on B pillar plastic

There are some interesting videos on youtube of people fixing these scratches using a heat gun. Google something like “fixing scratches on internal plastic trim”

May be worth exploring

Re: Scratches on B pillar plastic

Myself, my wife and my mistress are well into sado masochism, and both of them insist that I wear my studded leather and chains when going out in the car for a ride  Ona more serious note, I have no idea what is causing the scratches. For the most part since buying the car I've worn shorts...
