Re: Aftermarket Reversing Camera

The factory did not have a retro kit when I had mine done. They said they were not prepared to release one. It was the dealers who recommended the auto electricians to me. Everything works as it would the genuine article. Please mind your tone when I reply to a genuine question. theres no tone inte...

Re: Aftermarket Reversing Camera

The dealers will do this for you. They only had my car for half a day to retro fit the rear camera. Surely its better to have the factory purpose fit Skoda stuff than an aftermarket one? I think it costs about £300 from memory. All functions enabled on infotainment when you put in in reverse. Its gr...

Re: Reversing camera video in the dark please

I think it works good. The rear reverse light lights up the road so that the cam has a good image.. Well as good as it can be. Its not the best resolution.. Its about the same as what you'd get on a £10 kids flying drone.. thats the same for a lot of car manufacturer's that charge hundreds for tech ...

Re: Usb socket

i think you can buy spade connectors with wire on them so that you can plug them straight into the fuse box which would be a lot tidier than a big daft doddle sticking outta the power outlet. Allows you to effectively hard wire it without tools. Unless I'm the daft daft doodle and getting this wrong...

Re: Collecting new car

Well i found goodies I wasn't expecting on my car. Found a full boot netting thingy which I use a lot. Also found a full size spare wheel in the boot under the floor panel. Insurance is a pain as most insurers won't recognise your number plate for weeks. I ended up insuring with Skoda who were not t...

Where is internal sim located?

Since dealers can’t fix sos error does anyone know where the damn sim it uses is located. Maybe if I take it out I can instead have a permanent fault instead of constant interruptions and warnings that distract me while I’m driving

Re: Anyone else have a broken Emergency Call System?

I'm facing this exact problem though the warning and beep is only once few seconds to starting the car. The yellow triangle remains but no beeps or alerts thereafter. Car's booked for service tomorrow. Will update how it goes. they will either tell you they have reset it, or say there is nothing wr...

Re: Airbag and SOS warning

Have my own thread on the SOS fault but seems relevant here too. OP please let me know if you sort your problem but I'm still having difficulty: Back from the dealers AGAIN who have again kept my car all day and gave back to me saying they have done nothing, can find no faults, and they say there ar...

Re: Anyone else have a broken Emergency Call System?

Back from the dealers AGAIN who have again kept my car all day and gave back to me saying they have done nothing, can find no faults, and they say there are no records of the SOS faults.. even though the audio alarm voice now goes off more than ever - likely 300-400 times in the few weeks i've owned...
