Re: Plastic trim on B pillar getting increasingly scratched.

Is the trim actually scratched or are there just resin type marks from whatever you've brushed against ? If it's surface marks, then there'll be a number of products that will probably remove them. If the trim is actually scratched i.e. you can feel the indent with a fingernail, then here is probabl...

Re: Antistatic interior plastic treatment.

Thanks Silverbear, I get it now. I guess I'll just have to live with the dust then because I can't do without the AC.
Having said that, I always knew the dust would return, I was just looking for something that would stop it gathering so quickly.

Fundamentally you are asking for a treatment that renders an insulator conducting to dissipate charge. Discharging a surface is one thing but keeping it conducting is another.

Could you say that in English please ? Nobody ever accused me of being bright

Does anyone have first hand experience of an antistatic treatment for interior plastics that actually works ? I get a little fed up with all the dust that seems to quickly accumulate, and once wiped off, it reappears just as quickly. I don't want something that affects, or changes the appearance of ...

Re: Columbus updating

Why would you want to ? It doesn't take an age to update the whole thing and you don't have to sit in the car and wait for it. If you start the update when you go out for a drive and then stop and park/switch off the car for some reason, the update will continue from where it stopped once you turn o...

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitoring

Seal Inside is not guaranteed to cure all punctures. If the hole is slightly too large for Seal inside you may still get a slow leak.

That's pretty much what I thought, thankyou :)

Re: Storage compartment, centre console - Scratches

Maybe a misunderstanding, the storage console I'm referring to is the one in-front of the gear lever and has the USB socket. Aha, your fault, my mistake :D I imagine you could still use the stuff I gave you the link to. Just tried a piece of the material in the link in my car and it works well, esp...

Re: Storage compartment, centre console - Scratches

I also use it to stop chafing of straps on my cars bonnet when carrying canoes. It works well. You carry canoes on the car bonnet??????? :o I like to live dangerously ;) I have straps affixed under the bonnet, which when needed can come out between the gap where the bonnet closes. I then attach fur...
