Re: Tyre pressures 7 seater Kodiaq

Re: Hello and not a great start

Pleased to say that Rainworth Skoda replaced all the dodgy chrome without complaint. They even collected the car and returned it! You were fortunate that Skoda fixed that for you and it was obviously because the marks were there when you bought the car. Had you caused the marks after you bought the...

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

Take heart people, if you still have chrome staining or you get some in the future, there is a way to get rid of it. It's not a quick fix but it works. I took my car to the dealer recently and was attended to by very affable young lady who seemed wise beyond her years. She'd never seen or heard of t...

Same as Silverbear said, why would you procrastinate, especially if it's still under guarantee.

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

Further to this staining. I now know that on this occasion it was TFR that has marked the chrome window trims. This comes out of a separate lance to the water and suds in a French car wash and last year I didn't use it. I wish I hadn't used it this year either. Anyway, in between rain showers I'm ha...

Re: Infotainment screen rebooting!!

Just thought I'd post that I've just completed the same journey I did last year when the infotainment screen went awry and there's been no recurrence, so I now have to assume that the steps the dealer took to remedy it have worked :D .

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

Well, after the problems I had last year with tree sap marking my chrome trims and getting rid of them, I've just been in a French auto lavage and my trims are absolutely pickled with white staining. Now I used these twice last year at the same time I had the tree sap staining and experienced no pro...

Re: Infotainment screen rebooting!!

So, a year later almost. When the problem first occured I was on a long journey through France so the car was obviously getting quite hot and I did wonder at the time if that had a bearing on events even though the dealer reckons there's a cooling fan in the head unit. I've been unable to replicate ...

Re: SEL supplied without front parking sensors

If after locking your car with the key, you then touch the indent on the door handle within 5 secs, the Kessy system will be disabled.
Much cheaper and less hassle than sourcing new keys.
