Re: Coolant

Worryingly - I drove it later in the day and the warning indicator has gone off despite the level being below the min level. Thanks for your advice. I’ve got some
Coolant coming this morning. Which oil do you use?

Maintenance free is one of the attractions to a new car for me.

Re: Coolant

My 190 diesel has done 8k in 9 months since new and the coolant light came on this morning. Checked the coolant level and it’s below the min line. Never experienced this on a new car before. Quite disappointing. Also got an issue with the electric windows and window wipers screeching plus the phone ...

Re: New member - My first ever Skoda

Hi Alan This is my first Skoda too. We almost bought a Land Rover Discovery, well actually we did but pulled out. We picked our car up last Thursday and we are really enjoying it. We traded in a Mercedes C Class that just didn't fit our needs. So far delighted with the purcgase. I wish I had known ...

Re: MPG

hi Sabertooth The Car with all the extras when new was £39,960, they added it all up because I was worried about falling into the tax surcharge, of £350, which would make Road Tax £500 a year for the first 5 years on cars over £40.000., I did get my figures wrong just checked iI paid £29,000, so it...

Re: Business Grey Sportline

Finally managed to give her a good clean. I still think Business Grey is the dullest sounding colour possible but looks great and appears clean even when pretty dirty. I think this is one of the best looking kodiaqs I’ve seen. It’s also making me doubt my decision. Today I had the option of a brand...

Re: Confused on the kodiaq to buy...

I'm confused now, the SEL is in my honest opinion quite well specced, I'd have quite happily taken an SEL if I hadn't been offered such a good deal on the Edition, and I paid nowhere near £38k for mine, which doesn't have the glass roof but is 190bhp. I'm not sure of Audi Q7 prices but my last car ...

Re: 2.0 TSI MPG

My personal feeling is the 2.0 is going to be more mpg friendly than the 1.4, as the 2.0 should be better equipped to pull a 2.5 ton frame, hope I'm right as I'm gonna order next month! What did you opt for in the end? I’m in the same boat. Considered xtrail, tiguain, Touran and a few others less s...
