Re: Just joined - coming from Land Rover

When I finally managed to reject my Disco Sport the only real decision for me to make was between VW Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq, and based on VFM the Skoda was a runaway winner. With regards to JLR everything from the car quality/price through to service, repair etc was appallingly slow, poor and over-...

Re: Just joined - coming from Land Rover

Welcome to the forum. Good choice! Judging by other comments on the forum you have made a wise move leaving the LR camp!! Thanks, Yes, I won't miss some of the "joys" of being a Land Rover owner! Nothing major (thankfully) in the 32 months I owned mine, but plenty of visits to the dealer for lots o...

Re: LTE Compensator

I picked the car up on May 31st, it was pre-built and in-stock. No idea when it was built though and if it has a signal booster.

Re: LTE Compensator

It's a standard Edition with no extras I'm aware of, yes it does have wireless charging box in front of DSG but no idea about a signal booster. I assume if it has and they disconnect it then my mobile signal quality when making calls in car won't be as good?

LTE Compensator

I received a recall notice for my Kodiaq this morning from the dealership. I asked if it was for anything urgent, that means car isn't safe if it isn't done as we are a good 30mins drive away and both work Mon-Fri, so would probably involve one of us having to take time off work, which we would obvi...

Re: Kodiaq chrome trim

This might help, seen it mentioned quite a few times now since I've been on here.

Re: Hi from Essex

General question, what specific piece of non-standard equipment did you need that was worth a 16 week wait? I'd read loads of threads on here of very lengthy wait times from initial ordering to delivery, so we just bought a standard edition from pre-built stock and picked it up the same week once fi...

Re: Kodiaq Mk. II

If they were looking to release a Kodiaq Mk. II, what things about the current version would you change? For me by far the worst thing about the Kodiaq is the pathetic reversing lights which could so easily and cheaply be improved. The current voice recognition is not worth using. I know lots of pe...

Re: She's here.. minus the stickers!

The voice amplification is really odd, it took me a while to figure out that's what it was. I turned that off too, does anyone use and/or like it?

Re: Sportline velvet red life shine

I've had a couple of red cars in the past and it can be a very 'hit & miss' colour with some manufacturers i.e. we had a red ford Fiesta years ago and it was a horrible colour but the Skoda red in those photos is really nice.
