Re: Breakdown and Roadside assistance

Don’t forget to register for the free Skoda Ensurance scheme, you may not need it but it’s worth having as it’s free. What exactly is Skoda Ensurance? Our Kodiaq is just over a year old and we got an email from them the other day, what exactly do they do that my insurance company doesn't? The Skoda...

Re: Breakdown and Roadside assistance

Thanks. Found the link after I posted. AA patrol reached us within about 15 minutes of calling up! Quick tip for myself - Don't leave the dashcam switched on if the car won't be driven every day. Don’t forget to register for the free Skoda Ensurance scheme, you may not need it but it’s worth having...

Re: Kamiq Brochure and configurator available

There's definitely something wrong because when I option up a T-Cross R-Line with the options I'd want it comes to £26,250, £4k less than the Kamiq. Top spec Arona is similar. I assumed it was Kodiaq - Terrano, Karoq - Ateca, Kamiq - Arona so surely a Kamiq can't be £30k for top spec, that's just c...

Re: Kamiq Brochure and configurator available

Where exactly does the Kamiq fit into the range and who is it aimed at?

I assume its smaller than a Kodiaq, what size is it in relation to the Karoq?

Re: Service Frequency

My car came with the first two services included in the deal but they must be at 10K miles or 1 year intervals, whichever is first (the miles in my case). After that I can change to variable servicing, which I will, which is every two years or when the car says so up to a maximum of 20K miles. My p...

Re: Service Frequency

When did service interval frequency change from annual to 2 yearly anyway and why exactly? I always remember booking my previous vehicles, until quite recently, for a combined annual service/MOT. I'm sure there is sound engineering behind the change but just seems to me to not service any vehicle an...

Re: Service Frequency

Every so often there is a thread on here about service intervals, I don't understand why you would be £3-40k for a car and not service it at an approved Skoda dealership every year, whether you believe it needs it or not? When you buy a new car I assumed most people would take out the pre-paid serv...

Re: GREEN!

I actually quite like Green cars, the Skoda green reminds me of the British Racing Green cars my parents had growing up in the 70s/80s.

Re: USB Ports on the dash

You can buy things that plug into 12v cigarette lighter socket thingy which will give you 2off USB sockets.

That might be an easier option?
