Re: Hard to decide between Kodiaq and 5008

I cant think of any/many obvious gadgets that are missing. Adaptive cruise, pano roof, heated screen, heated steering wheel. Don't know if the 5008 has these things though! I've no idea what 'adaptive cruise' is, I've had a glass roof before and in my honest opinion are not worth the money, usually...

Re: Help plz

even for warranty claims so dealers charge for courtesy cars, I know of one that charges £12 per day, this allegedly covers their cost of insurance. Slightly off topic but if we want to talk about the cost of courtesy cars I've just had a service done at Marshalls of Reading. There was an optional ...

Got mine from stock last May. 13000 miles now and still loving it. I hope the people that are now getting the 190 version aren't being short-changed.

Re: RECOMMENDED EFFORT FREE POLISH

overall I don't think there's a better method of car cleaning than a do it yourself on your driveway with a hose pipe, bucket and sponge If you want to protect the paintwork more you could try 2 buckets (one for rinsing and one for soaping) and a lambswool mitt instead of a sponge. Google "2 bucket...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

I'd love to hear the thoughts of anyone who has access to both a MY18 and a MY19 car. I have the MY18 2.0 TSi and I really don't recognise the issues being reported. I love it! Possibly thats because I have different expectations? Or is the new engine (and gearbox?) really inferior?

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

Normal mode should be renamed "WLTP-MODE". Regarding driving mode selection. - Does the car then remember the last used "mode"? Do you mean in the MY18 car? I always leave it in "Normal" so I couldn't say for sure - but I think I've seen threads on here complaining about it NOT remembering the sele...

@tricky
perhaps you could get a passenger to video your driving experience (maybe with the dashboard in view?) so the rest of us can see how it is for you.

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

With autohold and auto stop off it's just about ok in normal mode. Sport mode is better but it's not night and day different but at least it doesn’t coast, it almost needs a sport plus mode unfortunately. I never see "ECO" in normal mode in my MY18 2.0 TSI. It almost sounds like that the "normal" m...
