Re: Order gone wrong

Slight update and a bit of a comparison: While we wait for out car reorder we’ve been running around in a Edition - 150Tsi 4x2, can’t help comparing it to the Santa Fe that preceded it: 10. Not particularly impressed with the Skoda seats, the shape of the lumbar support is like a metal bar (is it b...

Re: NEW ARRIVAL ~DETAILS

I've been toying with ordering a SE L with the same engine (same colour as well) but am slightly concerned the 1.5 TSI 150PS might be a little underpowered. The 2.0 TSI 190PS seems incredibly thirsty, so that's not an option and diesels are ruled out as my journeys are mostly less than 15 miles and...

Re: NAVIGATION HAS LOST SOUND

There is a setting you can change so that it only speaks if a route change is required. You can change it in the split screen control on the left by pressing the speaker icon. Options are: Comprehensive/brief/congestion only (or something like that)

Re: 2.0 TSI MPG

but marginally worse due to 4x4. I didn't mention it above but my 2.0 TSi is also a 4x4 DSG. I think the 2.0 petrols only come in that configuration? Updated data, filled up yesterday: 33.1, 33.4, mostly local. Good numbers, might be controversial, but FYI this last batch was Shell fuel, the others...

Re: Questionnaire about Kodiaq ride quality

Mine is very comfortable at all speeds (19 inch wheels, no DCC). Have you tried another Kodiaq?

My wifes car ... I can open the drivers door and look back when reversing ...
Yeah that is a bit annoying. Given the lack of visibility in the Kodiaq and the inability to maneuver with the door open, the Area view camera should be standard on all models.

Re: 2.0 TSI MPG

I do a mix of driving in my 2.0 (180) TSi. Hear are the figures for my last 7 fill-ups. First column is actual measured mpg, second column is what the trip computer said: Act . Com. Notes 31.5 32.8 some motorway 32.5 33.4 plenty motorway and A roads 30.3 31.4 some motorway 33.4 34.2 plenty motorway ...

Re: Hard to decide between Kodiaq and 5008

I cant think of any/many obvious gadgets that are missing. Adaptive cruise, pano roof, heated screen, heated steering wheel. Don't know if the 5008 has these things though! I've no idea what 'adaptive cruise' is, I've had a glass roof before and in my honest opinion are not worth the money, usually...
