Re: Kodiaq Towing Mirrors

Hello

I have said previously when the subject has been raised that I use the Millenco mirrors BUT put them on upside down with no problems.

Re: RECOMMENDED EFFORT FREE POLISH

Put on a sealant like Finish Kare 1000p and then use a detailer spray after every wash. Will keep it shiny and protected. This is the easier method with acceptable results.

Re: Rear discs and pads

Unfortunately I have the DSG, I park on a slope and after washing the vehicle (I like to keep it clean) the brake definitely sticks and releases with a bang. I am going to phone customer services and say the premature wear is due to sticking back brake.
Thanks

mine as in the article except he got more miles. I do find when reversing the OSR pad seems to initially stick, or slow to release.

I will watch the article with interest. I am also going to get a second opinion.

Rear discs and pads

Hello

Just a question. Has anybody had the above replaced? My Kodiaq is 2 years old with 17K miles, been told I need new discs and pads. I think that is poor, asked service desk who would pay-Me was the answer.
Thanks

Re: MY VERY FIRST CAR

The first car I had a 'go at' was a 1960 Skoda Octavia, red with white interior! It simply rotted away The heater was amazing, you opened two flaps and the heat poured out. Replaced the windscreen with a Ford Thames replacement. My first drive on proper roads was in a Vauxhall Cresta 3.3, brilliant ...

Re: Winter Coat

It looks good, what did you use? A sealant? I use Collinite 915 or FK100p.

Re: Engine clatter at 1500 RPM

I found that too but now that I have completed 12,000 miles the engine is much quieter and performance is more improved. Another key issue is the cold starting-obviously the clatter is much worse in colder weather and on start up.
