Sorry, had to wait for my wife to bring the Kodiaq back lol.

Eco flashes up in normal mode as well.
OK. thanks

What about the drive in normal. Good enough? Or is sport the only one that works?

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

Have You checked normal mode? Driving mode select can be retrofitted with OE parts, BUT my dealer will (for now) not be a part of it! And i have not paid for 3 years extra warranty, for them to say it is not valid because of a purchase that makes the car drive acceptable. "Eco Mode (Driving Mode Sel...

Eco does not appear in sport mode, it definitely does in eco mode (as it goes into coasting mose), haven't used normal mode enough to notice I'm afraid but will give it a go and find out.
Thanks, please do that. I fear i am in eco mode constantly. At least when driving in the city.

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

lol - Tricky from now on. Without drive select I think your going to struggle to get the car to be as responsive as you might want as its the engine in sport rather than the gearbox (I'm regretting not getting the gearshift paddles now though) although to be honest - culling autohold and stop start...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

SkodiaqDK , no problems at all when the Kodiaq is cold (but to be fair we are talking 2 - 12 degrees since I've picked it up here in the UK so not exactly Nordic cold lol). Its starting to loosen up, with autohold off, sport mode enabled, stop start switched off its actually almost responsive (alth...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

Hmm. Felt jumpy again today.

What about you Oopps? You feel it is a comfortable car to drive when engine is cold and you drive slow in the city?

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

Picked my 2.0 TSI SEL up on Wednesday and have to say I'm utterly underwhelmed by the engine and gearbox. Even in sport mode it has a lot of lag and stop start is downright dangerous in the delay in restarting etc. Every other car restarts when you start to release the brake pedal, this one only st...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

Well, the car is jerky when cold. But the gearbox oil probably also needs to be warm to be nice. It has not stalled. I believe the kodiaq in eco mode with cold engine is not a fantastic combination. Too many gearshifts with a cold engine/transmission and furthermore it goes coasting which adds furth...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

I have seen the sign "eco" in the display when i release the gas pedal. This is the user manual definition: Eco illuminates - the vehicle is in economy mode due to the intervention of the active cylinder management or due to the neutral position of the automatic gearbox. Does anyone with a 180ps ge...
