Re: Engine noise / whistle

Sorry, I overlooked that bit. I am somewhat stumped then. but there is no way it's brakes, unless it's an air leak on the brake servo. Whatever it is, it should not be happening on a new car. Do you have another Skoda dealer within easy reach? If so take it there and see . if you can get a sensible...

Re: Engine noise / whistle

Yeah. It made me a bit mad the brake theory... But if there is something leaky in the turbo system, then i believe the sound should continue? The sound is only there when the car crawls.... And then it keeps on going 1 or 2 sec after the car is in a stand still. And then it dissapears. And it...

Re: Engine noise / whistle

I believe DSG is the only option with a 2.0 tsi engine.

So DQ381 for the MY19.

My theories for now... bearings (On a DSG?) ?
turbo? turbo hoses?
chain tightener?

My dealer told me (From the video) that it could be "sticky" brakes... . I seriously doubt that.

Re: Ventilated Seats OR Folding Table

I think there is something in the ventilated seat that prevents you adding the table. I'm not sure when someone should use the table, can't imagine the kids being able to reach it when you're driving. Certainly never heard my boys say, please can i have a table. On the other hand, I do remember sum...

Re: Ventilated Seats OR Folding Table

I got ventilated seats. Have not yet gotten 100% used to sit in them. I feel i am sitting a bit closer to center than i prefere. I want to sit directly in front of steering wheel. Maybe it is the same for all kodiaq with memory / electric seats? Have not tested the ventilation for real yet. Probably...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

I have the 190 DSG all whistles and bells, almost all, it was a ex demo ,2800 on the clock, It now has 7500 in July 2 years old, I have owned it 19months. It is the first automatic I have owned, I love it. I bought it for pulling my caravan, it does it effortlessly , its very quiet, smooth, very qu...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

Dont really feel any gruff, but maybe it is because tricky is in "sport"? I'm not impressed by the DSG gearbox. I believe my mondeo 6 gear automatic was better, at least when driving slow in the city. Maybe dsg is better / more smooth on the highway. I was looking for a SUV with a decent gasoline en...

Re: My19 2.0 tsi user experiences?

When driving mode is put into "sport", does the gearbox then automatically go to sport as well?
