Re: Alternative drink holders?

Has anyone found any workable solutions to the useless centre drink holder? Can't understand why they didn't put in the normal 'grip' type holders that work on large and small bottles/cups.....had a loan VW Toureg recently which had excellent cup holders in the middle......same parent company, so wh...

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

After a year of ownership I am yet to encounter this problem, but then I follow a strict regime: 1) I don't use the hand car washes that spring up behind petrol stations, car parks and industrial units - that's more to do with me being cautious about human trafficking and money laundering, but avoid...

Re: Petrol - what octane?

Driving the Kodiaq 1.4TSi for a year, I unscientifically feel that the higher octane ratings like Tesco Momentum do give a slight power increase and a few more mpg on a decent run. However, my last 2 fills have been normal Esso 95, as they have started giving Nectar points, so I switched from my nor...

Re: Launch control

The launch Control works in my 1.4 TSI DSG, and is a bit of fun on a straight empty road....wouldn't try and use it in actual traffic to pull away.
Get quite a lot of wheel spin with the traction control turned off, but for a big beast it does launch it pretty quickly.

Re: Help plz

Yes, I got a courtesy car from Simpsons Skoda in Preston when the Kodiaq went in to have the recurring SOS problem fixed, which took about 4 days in my case.

Re: Hard to decide between Kodiaq and 5008

I looked extensively at the 3008 and 5008 before choosing the Kodiaq, and agree that they are attractive, have nice interiors and lots of gadgets. However, they are French and having had nothing but trouble with French electrics in the past, I stuck with a brand that has had nothing but positive, re...

Losing DAB presets

I know this has been mentioned before, but couldn't find the relevant threads......my DAB presets disappear every now and then and I have to re-tune/save 18 presets from scratch. My dealer said it was related to the annoying SOS call system fault I was having and this was rectified last month....how...

Re: L&K colour choice

Not the L&K, but I went with Petrol Blue and beige interior on my SEL and love the combination - feels special every time we get in. Ideally I wanted a more vibrant blue, something like the VRS models have used previously, and was disappointed with the colour palette available when I ordered in late...
