Re: Is there anything you would have had or not in hindsight

I have an edition but would have loved it if I could have bought it with the Sportline body kit as I much prefer the colour coded option. The only reason I didn't go Sportline was because the only option was Alcantara seating and I wanted leater as it's easier to keep clean than the suede, plus the ...

I'm sure i read somewhere that the 'official' kits uprate the cooling system on some of the Kodiaq models.
Ah MatDey, you got in there before me on that post, it wasn't up there when I started to write mine. :)

Re: Aftermarket towbars

I notice a lot of talk here about the aftermarket towbar and electrics but I'm almost entirely certain that this isn't the only things to consider. I also believe that there's a requirement to upgrade the vehicle radiator system / oil cooler due to extra exertion that will be placed on the vehicle f...

Re: Chrome window trims

Just had a quote for replacement of all the window trims.... £1606.66 parts and labour for Chrome trim £1520.57 parts and labour for Sportline trim £495.00 labour costs for each as apparently the rear curved trim actually hold in the rear windows and they therefore require resealing afterwards. :sho...

Re: Racechip XLR

I simply have the app through personal preference. It’s easier in my view than having an unsightly dual fitted on the dash somewhere or more convenient than having to reach into a cubby and retrieve it to adjust and then see which mode it’s turned round to. The visual display makes it clear which mo...

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

Well oddly enough, I spoke to the salesman who sold me my car and he said “not another one! We’ve had a few of these lately on the Kodiaq and superb”

I’ve asked him to look into replacing for the Sportline trim instead.

Re: Racechip XLR

Did anyone try the App-based control function with the XLR? I'm assuming that for some reason that's not available in the UK / Europe as I didn't see any option for it whilst purchasing / installing. But I agree......totally unnecessary. I have the App based control on mine and it works fine.

Re: Pitting on chrome bits after hand/carwash

I've experienced the same thing and several people have complained about it. My thought is to possibly wrap them in either black or chrome vinyl? If they get damaged again, it would be a simple case of peeling off the damaged section of vinyl film. I don't think it was the car wash, many others who ...
