THE OLDEST CAR EVER OWNED/DRIVEN

The oldest and my first car ever owned was a 1952 Rover 75 cyclops with a free wheel and three speed column change not to mention a starting handle for emergencies. Were those the days? As a new graduate at the time £20 was a lot of cash for my heart`s desire; independence from public transport and ...

Re: NAVIGATION HAS LOST SOUND

I still prefer using my iphone map which offers better graphics and all announcements but sometimes lea...

Re: Variable interval servicing and fixed-price service plans

Re: Another petrol blue

I had ordered Petrol Blue last February and a week later took my wife to see the showroom Kodiaq to check if she needed the running board to get in.....she`s a short lady. She didn`t but noticed an emerald green Karoq newly positioned in the showroom and said immediately, "I do like that better than...

Re: Maybe I`m a bit thick but.......

My car`s first oil change is in two days and I`ll be asking dealer but advice here seems A OK. Using navigation after first few instructions "she" goes silent and I have the small route changer in the centre binacle wiping out my MPH indicator and of course the route highlighted on the screen. When ...

WHICH KODIAQ SUITS YOU SIR?

To think that when I was buying my first cars apart from colour the main variables were perhaps 3 doors or 5 and automatic or manual. Now it seems there`s a variation for everyone https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/s ... 2016/data/

Re: RECOMMENDED EFFORT FREE POLISH

Thanks for all your comments.
Autoglym Lifeshine was I assume applied by dealer. It was as Scratch 113 above noted; a deal sweetener. What should I expect from that?

Re: MY20 Updates

I still intend to keep my 2018 Kodiaq for a few years. Question is whether manufacturers have lined up so called "improvements " from when model is first released or discover REAL improvements from owners and warranties claims. I can understand the latter but fear that having modifications in the ye...

Re: 18 months on.......

Since purchase new last June I have done about 2.5K miles. CONNECT indicates Oil service 6800 mi/54 days Do those who know better than I consider that the car is on a fixed schedule. If so it seems unnecessary.

Re: Suspension differences across trim levels

You guys must have very sensitive arses to differentiate various suspension set ups so clearly. Or perhaps I`m just pleased that I can flop on the seat and waft over most London streets. And to think that in 2000 I was driving a red TR6; must be getting old
