Re: Towtrust towbar - is fitting visible when ball detached?

I would be more concerned that the towbar was going to be wired and coded correctly and not using bypass relays than whether it was visible when removed.

Re: SEL supplied without front parking sensors

If anyone has the May 2019 Pricing and Specification document I'd appreciate a copy. Kenny R previously posted the options sheet and I'd like to see what the list price for the vehicle was at that time given the price was agreed based around a discount on the current August 2019 MY2020 pricing. Tha...

Re: SEL supplied without front parking sensors

I think you’ll find they will invoke the, Skoda reserves the right to change the prices, colours, or technical specifications clause that will be buried in the small print somewhere, unless you have in writing exactly what speciation the car you ordered included.

Re: SEL supplied without front parking sensors

My 2018 SEL didn’t come with front sensors as standard. This price and spec doc from May 2019 they weren’t standard either.

Re: Hello and not a great start

While I'm on, it's quite hard to see when you are doing 30, 50, 70mph on the speedo. Is there any way to bring the speed up in the centre of the display? I can get just about everything else up there! Regards, Liam You certainly can have a digital MPH display. 2AC9B844-5D04-4ABA-8A3C-B7DA90DF69E1.j...

Re: Is this L&K in Brilliant Silver or Business Grey?

Having had a brilliant silver Octavia and Yeti I would say it’s brilliant silver. Hard to tell under those lights though.

Re: Door protection thingy. Gripped. UPDATE. Page 5.

No good! Just a couple days later and the driver's door won't close again. Piece of junk, if you ask me. Will ask the dealer to take a look at it when I'm there for my first service. The other three doors are still working OK. Update: My Kodiaq's first scheduled service (at 15,000 km) was yesterday...

Re: Rim size and tyre noise

Just to confirm for anyone wondering, I’ve just back to backed a 5 seater and 7 seater, both with 19inch rims. The 7 seater did have different tyres (Hancook vs my Pirelli Verde) but I would say beyond much doubt that the increase in road noise is down to the lack 3rd row seats which when folded do...

Re: Rim size and tyre noise

That said maybe the noise differences is due to the 17", 18", 19" and 20" tyres having different profile depths which are 65mm, 55mm, 50mm and 45mm respectively. That’s not how tyre profiles work. The 65, 50 etc is a percentage of the tyre width, not mm’s directly. Picture shows difference in sidew...
