I've just bought a 2020 kodiaq 190 tdi sportline. Can't for the life of me work out how to remove the headrests, have they changed the mechanism? Anyone managed it.
Slide a credit card or similar ( 2 in picture) under the post without release catch.

I suggest you name and shame the dealer on this forum. They should not be allowed to get away with this.
A written complaint to Skoda U.K. is essential. Somebody at the dealership should loose his job over this!
Don’t think Skoda UK would be much interested in a complaint from Moldova :)

Re: New Kodiaq, New member!

I certainly didn’t make any claim that manoeuvre braking was infallible, and as you point out neither does Skoda.
I have front sensors and it works in conjunction with them also.

Re: Passenger windscreen jet washer stopped working

Sounds like you have got a blockage. Are you using screenwash suitable for fan type washer jets.
You could probably pull off the screenwash hose under the bonnet and try blowing through to try and dislodge obstructions.

Re: New Kodiaq, New member!

Does the SE L MY21 have emergency braking as standard (AEB?) Will it stop me /wife driving forward into a wall when parking? As far as I am aware all models have emergency braking as standard, but it's not designed to prevent slow speed bumps as when parking. I think it only operates above a minimu...

Re: New member - which engine

Thanks all. Can anyone let me know service costs over 3 years? Im going to go hire it rather than buy. Ive been quoted for £25 a month maintenance on top but I can only see costs for a year 3 service on Skoda website. I presume there is an annual service and perhaps one major within that at maybe 2...

Re: About to pull the trigger 1.5 SE L Kodiaq (w/toys)

I see you’ve clicked the family pack, this includes blinds on the rear windows and waste bin so you can omit them from your list. Unless you intend taking it seriously off road where it’s not intended, I would skip the rough road package. Personally I would skip the sun roof, whilst nice to look at ...

Re: Charged with deceit?

Erm, at the risk that you're just posting as a wind up and I've fallen for it hook, line and sinker (like the mug I am!!), the dealership chain is called "All Electric, Birmingham" Took me a minute to work out what was actually going on. Wind up ??? :o I think I made it quite obvious I realised wha...

Isn't it easier to use the spare key ? :D
Having replaced the battery you have to re-sychronise the fob, and to do that you have to use the emergency key.
Strange, I’ve replaced the batteries in both my keys, and I didn’t have to use the emergency key, or re-synchronise anything.

Re: What do you wish you had fitted

I added front parking sensors, which are now standard fit, heated windscreen, reverse camera, child pack which adds remote child lock operation and rear window blinds, and spare wheel to my SEL, don’t think there is anything that I wish I had added. As above much prefer the alcantara to leather, and...
