Re: Coast

As above if you haven’t got drive mode selection and can select eco mode it must be the active cylinder mode light your seeing, presuming you have a 1.4 Tsi.

Re: The Brakes!!!

Assuming the Karoq is the same as the Kodiaq, when you say the autohold was activated did the green brake light on the dash change to red when you turned the ignition off and opened the door. Also is your car a manual or DSG and if DSG was it in park?

Re: Live traffic

Mine was the same, worked straight away didn’t have to register.
I did register to my3 so I could keep tabs on data usage of the sim on my iPad. The activation code text is sent to the car, where you can read text and take note of code to complete registration.

Re: DSG gear change lag

Can't understand why Skoda got is so wrong on the 1.4. Does the 2.0L suffer similarly, does anyone know? After reading the posts on here about the throttle delay I contemplated buying a Racechip or similar pedal box whilst I was waiting on my 2.0 Tsi to be delivered. Decided to wait till I took del...

Does it really warrant opening 3 different posts, that I’ve counted on the exact same subject?

Re: Kodiaq VRS

Anybody’s guess, the L & K version was announced in March, and I don’t think you can actually order one yet.

Re: Reverse gear - clunk

If manoeuvre braking has been selected in the parking and manoeuvring menu then rear sensors could be detecting some object and applying the brakes.

Re: Condensation / Misting of headlights

The problem is probably accentuated by the latest fancy LED headlights that won’t generate the same heat that a halogen lamp would, so take a bit longer to dry out. Add the fact that modern lights are not sealed and have vents. As above it’s perfectly normal and mentioned in the manual.

Re: Centre caps

Typically Audi wheels have larger center caps and your unlikely to find genuine Skoda caps that will fit. You may find some stickers on eBay that you could cover the Audi ones, or just put some Audi badges on the front and back of your Kodiaq so they’re all matching.
