Re: Kodiaq cutting out

I had an issue with mine, I had just filled up with diesel, tried to start the vehicle, the engine turned over, would,nt start, I returned to the kiosk and explained problem & had to call the AA, the next customer in the petrol kiosk asked which car, so pointed to the Kodiaq. He told me to get insid...

Re: GAP Tobell insurance,

When I purchased the Superb, I took out the GAP insurance, after 8 months I decided to trade it in and get the Kodiaq, transfering the GAP insurance onto that. Combined with the GAP premium, was cover for minor body and wheel damage which I made a claim for. The work carried out was first class.the ...

GAP Tobell insurance,

Prior to buying my Kodiaq, i had a Superb, lovely car, but wasnt heavy enough to pull our caravan. When I bought the Superb, i also took out GAP insurance, covered minor body damage and wheel scuffs. Last year, on the driver side I was hit by a stone, flicked up from a pot hole, quite a dent, also I ...

Re: LOW MILEAGE SERVICES AND WARRANTY

My Kodiaq 190 DSG, is 3 years old in July, it was an ex-demo vehicle, and had 2,300 miles on the clock, it now has 10,700, but has just been in for its 3 year service. This is regardless of the milage, because on my vehicle, a spanners shows up on the dash, informing me how many days i have before t...

Re: 2nd Service, 12k Miles, rear disk Heavily Corroded

I have just taked my 2017 190 DSG, in for MOT & 3rd service, its milage is 10768, being the 3rd year i was under the impression it wasa due for the major service, but the main dealer says NO, next year. Over the 3 years i have paid into the service plan, so assumed that the cost of the service would...

Re: Fail to start?

I think we are getting off the beaten track here, with the Red Button use, I took my Kodiaq 190 Edition to the main agents, to have a fuel sensor unit fitted, this was done on the warranty as pervious stated. Only now time will tell if that's the cause of the initial problem, but because of the Viru...

Re: Factory tow-bar retrofit

The Kodiaq I have came with the electric tow ball fitted, but because of the mechanics for it to operate, take extra room, the spare wheel insert, will only take the small biscuit spare wheel. OK if your not towing, but as I pull the caravan, I bought a full size spare wheel, which takes a lot of sp...

Re: Fail to start?

I think their is a plus side to the Red button issue, you were right only for emergencies, you get so used to the engine starting at the press of a button, I did panic a bit [ Don't Panic Mr Wilson ] I only pressed it for a second maybe. However what struck me , If you are in a accident, and roll th...

Re: Fail to start?

There is a plus side to all of the chain of events, at least if you are under a garage canopy, obviously the signal will not transmit, how will you go on, if the vehicle has flipped over, or on its side? My wife as yet is doing well, but we have to be wary of certain factors, thank for your comment....
