Re: Factory Fit Towbar & Alko Caravan Hitch

The hitchlock on my van is a Winterhof, similar to the Alco, I have not had any problems. The only thing is, that I always use the caravan motomover, to couple up, as there is no protector plate, prevening you hitting the bumper with the hitchlock.

Re: Towing Caravan.

I have just done 6500 miles, in the Kodiaq, and I am now getting just under 30 mpg. That is towing, pretty loaded down, 3 people and doing between 55-60 miles an hour, trying to us the cruise control as much as possible. So thats not to bad.

If I get 30 + I will be happy, perhaps because it is the auto its a bit heavy on fuel. I hope ...

I used it a couple of weeks ago mixed driving, but mainly motorway, where cruise control used. 80 motorway miles, 40 through town. The average fuel consumption was ...

Re: Boot

The problem I have had, the boot unhooking but not opening, or only opening half way. On the 26th June it is going in for its first service [12 months ] but it will have done less that 6,000 miles, so I will mention it?
