Meguires ultimate shampoo. Armourall sheild polish. Meguirs tyre finish. Greased lightening showroom shine but not used as waterless was, just polish. Meguires hotrims wheel cleaner. Poor boys wheel sealer. No hand or automated car washes. Just hand washing. 2 bucket method.

Re: Airbag and SOS warning

It’s Halfords, that says it all unfortunately. Never ever trust them to touch your car. Like trusting Kwikfit with tyres and not expecting a new exhaust, tracking and a set of incorrectly balanced tyres. You should have the dealer look at how they connected it up. As long as there are no persistent ...

Re: New Kodiaq owner..

I owned two French cars in my life. Both the cars and dealer network let me down hugely. Vowed never to buy either of those brands again in my life. Good decision to move on I reckon. The most reliable car I have owned was my last Skoda Fabia for 10 years and 110,000 miles of virtually trouble free ...

Re: Start/stop......it's now driving me nuts!

You have options with regard start stop. You can read the road, if you see the traffic is stopped when approaching and about to move away, ease off or equally pull up more quickly and allow the car to stop and then restart. That is my approach. You have to drive to the system, very much like you do ...

Re: 3 child seat problem!

I have 3 kids. Realistically you will not fit 3 seats across the 2nd row. Use 1 seat from the 3rd row and use a roof box. You will need to compromise somewhere. You could possible fit 3 seats across the 2nd row if they butt up to the doors but then you have the issue of protection. You have no space...

Re: 1.4 TSI 150 DSG w 4 adults & 5yo

One has to take as one finds and I must admit my K is most frequently driven 1 up +hound and most weekends 2up +2 hounds. Rarely 4 up. I find the 'overtakeability' (40-60) speed amazing with 184ft/bs (amazing for such a small petrol engine, you must admit) but agree that it would be sadly lacking c...

Re: Climetronic A/C question

If you have air care on your air conditioning system you can enable that. It mixes fresh and recycled but not exclusively both and you need to re-enable when you start. Serves to provide cleaner air.

Re: 1.4 TSI 150 DSG w 4 adults & 5yo

Been reading this thread with interest as going through the exact same question, and it's starting to hurt my brain! I just struggle with the thought of such a small engine hauling such a large car. Trying to get a test drive in the 1.4 but none available locally. May see if I can even get to drive...

Re: All Weather Boot Liner

No Skoda original. I too have the one above, or very similar, from amazon. The lip has been so useful in containing dirt and water. We had a sticky kids drink leak in it last week. All nicely contained and easily cleaned. The one above too fits the recesses each side too maximising the protected loa...

Re: Wet Umbrella....

I place our wet brollies in the boot and then dry before returning to the door holder. I believe I read the brollie holder has a drain tube in it too.
