Re: Hello new to the Skoda world

I would suspect pretty much any car would feel plush suspension wise coming from a VXR :) Quite a change. Nice spec and colour. Like the crater wheels too. And you have some decent grunt with that diesel, well suited to the car.

Re: Connect and infotainment expiry

For me it is worth it. If you look at the renewal on the connect portal it lists clearly what elements the services provide. My view is that the car by design is built with connectivity in mind, you spend upwards of 30k on the car. Why quibble over £100. My view and appreciate everyone is different....

Re: Do you have any of these SuperSkoda accessories?

I have ordered the side protection mouldings. The are utter rubbish so do not waste your money. They are poorly crafted with imperfections and very soft on the external surface. You can literally stick your finger nail in them and dig a lump out as I managed to do accidentally when unpacking. I ende...

Re: Poor MPG - 2.0 TDI, 110 kW

That would not seem unreasonable in my experience. Short journeys and the cold winter weather contrive to make mpg figures rather low. Notwithstanding your current low mileage too.

Re: LTE Compensator

My Edition was built Oct 17 too. I was wholly expecting something to be removed from the signal booster/wireless charger when I had the first service last year but was informed my car was not subject to the recall. Something obviously changed in the model year to negate the issue.

Re: Infotainment in cars !!!

Do not disagree with the view that a tablet in front of you may well be distracting when driving, if you choose to try an interact with it whilst on the move that is. There is sufficient evidence though to show some activities do cause accidents and kill folks, lack of attention for whatever reason ...

Do you mean this part ...

Figure it is the wrong side but shows they are out there and shows the fixings on the other side.

Re: Lost everything I've written !!

No .. likely your laptop and not the site. Specially if you have one of those awful trackpads or pointers that sit in the middle of the keyboard. They are notorious for erratic pointer behaviour. Personally my laptop is the least favourite method of interaction.

Re: Model Deletion

I do not personally find the badging makes the rear end busy. The only reason I would do it is for cleaning. Those sharp little letters get stuck on my microfibre cloth and I am sure if caught hard I will bend or break a letter. Removal for me would be purely functional, not aesthetic.
