Re: New to Skoda - stalled order?

Order placed at the end of January and I'm still at Status 10. I've chased the dealer but without success. The response I received was: Still showing Status 10, as is all our other customers too. Our admin team are going to speak to their sales office this morning to find out the delivery schedule ...

Re: RECOMMENDED EFFORT FREE POLISH

I'm a bit of a sucker for Autoglym products. Now they've brought out the Polar wash, and Polar seal to go with the Polar blast, it's a nice and easy way to keep the car clean. A simple 10 minute soak with the blast, rinse, then apply the wash, clean with the mitt, rinse. Then apply the seal every ot...

Re: Status/build codes.

Sorry for the late reply Kenny. You can either call skoda customer services on 03330 037 504. Or live chat on the Skoda website, you'll need your order number which is 8 digits and normally starts with a 2.
Mind you it's probably shipped by now, sorry mate.

Re: L&K colour choice

I reckon there's a very slight green/aqua/cerulean tinge to the blue. It's not a straight midnight blue ala Audi. I agree, there is an odd tinge to the colour in bright lights, but I’m going for teal blue (Pantone 17-5024) rather than cerulean blue. Ah yes, teal was the colour I was thinking of. Gl...

Re: Black magic problems

I'd never let those car wash cowboys anywhere near my car. God knows what chemicals they're using, not to mention the filthy mitts they use, full of grit after wash after wash. No thank you!! If you have the means to wash the car yourself, then invest in quality ph neutral car products, I use Autogl...

Re: L&K colour choice

Thanks, both those are quite smart. I'm certainly leaning towards the blue, but haven't been able to see one. The wheels are lighter than the spec suggested, they listed them as anthracite, they look silver to me. Not anthracite on mine, just lovely shinny alloys. Shows up great with the blue, espe...

Re: Status/build codes.

Thanks Mark. Yeah I’ve read a few aswel regarding acceleration, it’s not meant to be a fast sports car! I spoke to Skoda this afternoon and it’s waiting to board a ship to uk! It will be on a ship between now and 5th March. I’m hoping/optimistic for it to be in my possession mid March! Only problem...

Re: Status/build codes.

None whatsoever Kenny. I've had 12 months of driving pleasure to be honest. Even had no trouble with the door protector's!! Seriously though, this is the most comfortable driving car I've ever had. I see lots of posts on forums from people bemoaning the MPG and acceleration is poor, but it's a large...
