Anyone with a 1.5TSi Evo concerned about which DSG they have may be interested in what I found out when asked the question by a Karoq forum member.
Copied/pasted here.
I have at last found the answer.
7 speed 1.5 EVO engines are fitted with the DQ381 wet clutch. Much more robust than the DQ 200. which the DG381 superceded.
They require a change of transmission fluid and filter every 3 years or 38k miles. Whichever comes soonest.

Any 6 speed DSGs are the DQ 250. Wet clutch.

I don't believe it.

1.5 tsi with kodiaq = dq381
1.5 tsi with karoq = dq200

4x4 it would be dq381.

Do you have coasting function in your car Colin? If not, it is dq200.

The above screen shot only says 7 speed. It doesn't say WHICH 7 speed.
I happened to pick up in yesterdays Telegraph from Honest John (who is frequently wron.) but who dislikes DSGs and seems to know a lot about them).......... the following;-
Quote.
Do you know of any issues with the automatic transmission fited to the Skoda Kodiaq?
My parents are thinking of buying a petrol automatic/"
HJ's reply.
"It seems that even with the smaller 1.4TSi and 1.5TSi petrol engines. Skoda fir either the DQ250 six speed wet clutch or the DQ381 seven speed wet clutch DSGs which are much more robust than than the infamous DQ200 seven speed dry clutch DSGs.
These require a change of transmission fluid and filter every three years or 38,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Some owners have experienced a bit of hesitation in first and second gear with the 1.5 TSi, largly masked by the DSG cluch packs."

Make of that what you will.
My Karoq is 4x4 so I'm all right Jack!! ;)

My Karoq is 4x4+ selective drive function (Eco) with coasting and of course ACT.
Please advise the source of your info, as I could find no definitive answer anywhere on the internet.

Whoops! Didn't see that bit. More haste, less speed, as my old Dad used to say.
Thanks.
