I have just spoken to my dealer who confirms that my build date has gone from week 22 to week 33 i.e. delivery August/September. He says that the Factory has run out of 7 seats configuration, 2.00 TSI engines and DSG!! Any body else getting the same info or has my dealer sold my car to someone else?
Ordered 23rd February
Quartz grey Edition 2.00 TSI DSG with just about every extra.

Oh that's not good. My order placed end of January for a 7seat 2.0 TDI DSG. Was expecting an update from dealership yesterday for original quoted delivery of next week.

I'll check, as I was advised a few days ago of build week 22......and mine is a 7 seat 2.0 TSI.

We were informed last Monday that our SE 150TDI/DSG/4x4/5 seats, ordered on 6 April has been built. That's much earlier than expected so does rather suggest that production schedules have been modified to use available parts.

I have a 150tdi DSG SE 2X4 on order since 9th April and was informed last monday 15th that it was to be built 'this week'.

Just spoken to my dealer and they've not been advised of any such delays. Their IT system is down for maintenance today but they will re-check for me on monday......but as far as they are aware mine is still week 22.

Mine was apparently bumped forward whilst others were bumped back. If reading an article the other day is anything to go by then there will be delays, as the article said that by June the whole of the production for the year had been sold. They are obviously selling a lot of Kodiaq.

Ordered mine on 6th April. I spoke to my dealer earlier today and was told that my Kodiaq is now on a ship at the port. Just waiting for it to sail but did not know when that would be.

He didn't know which ship it was on either but I have done a seach and found a ship which is a vehicle carrier which is presently docked at Emden, which is called the Makassar Highway. It may be on that one. Anyone have any idea if there are any others it could be on.

Woohoo!

Chased Activa for an update (after reading the rumblings of this forum) and they advised it has a number plate and that they are in a position to offer a delivery date! Based on previous info, this means its built, that it's been shipped, received by a dealership, and that it's been checked for everything it's supposed to have.

Activa said they would be contacting me 'later on today' to discuss delivery... and then didn't.

Fortunately, they shared the first name of the person who was going to call and I've found them on Activa's 'meet the team' page on their website (which also has each person's contact details... ) so sent them an enthusiastic chaser email which they'll get tomorrow morning...

Anticipation is killing me. Could be driving a new motor by the end of the week!

It's at Listers in Coventry... not at the showroom but at a 'not customer friendly' site nearby. They're proposing delivery to Edinburgh on Thursday 8th June or any subsequent Thursday. I'm guessing that delivery delay is based on the availability and delivery schedule of a flatbed lorry.

As I'll be working from offices in West Midlands on the 6th anyway, I've aranged to exchange the cars there on that day, instead - driving down in the old car and returning in the new one. That'll stretch its legs and shave off a couple of days! Means I'm stuck with the Citroen minibus for a couple more weeks though... Ugh.

So:

- Order placed 27th Jan (2.0 TDI DSG 2WD Edition)
- Vehicle received by dealership 22nd May (17 weeks)
- Taking delivery 6th June

Just spoke with my broker who just had a conversation with Skoda regarding the build and he's managed to add an overlooked option on for me (sunblinds and leccy child lock). Still expecting the car to be ready for pick up end of August.

UPDATE: meeting on the 6th cancelled but so's a London trip on the 1st so... re-arranged office day and delivery to office on the 1st! Next Thursday! Woohoo!

Any build week changes for the folks in Ireland?
Hi exSantaFe, I drove past AW the other day and the dealer said mine (and a few others) still have no build week assigned, some of which were ordered before mine. Other orders (before/after mine) already had build week, so Im guessing it's to do with some pick engine/optionals that is the reason for delay.
AW have no delivered any unit according to him - I have spotted one in my area but it was from some dealership in south dublin (MSL if I recall).
