2.0 TSI ORDERS!

What's the status of your orders and what have you been told about delivery date??

I ordered in July and told no WLTP delays car would be here by October (laughing at that now). I basically had to inform the dealer that there were definitely delays and Skoda UK co reacted them to update them that expectation was no by the end of the year.

I'm being updated weekly by Skoda exec office but last few weeks they have just sent me a text to say no update but I've seen people being told not until January for 2.0 TSI deliveries so getting frustrating.

What have you all been told?!

Ive been told today that the revised 2.0 TSI 190bhp engine can be ordered from 2nd week of February. Skoda anticipate the delivery period to drop from 25 weeks after that. Lets hope!

My build week was this week and just been told it's at the port of exit and arrived there yesterday. Seems very quick to me after a long time waiting. I presume this means it's at Emden? Got cut off before I could ask the question.

Seems the 2.0 TSI's are on a roll. Ordered mine back at the beginning of August, was told June for build before Christmas, now been told it left the factory yesterday so potentially early March delivery.

I will pick mine up on Thursday.

I've seen it already, and touched it, so now i believe it!

Would be interested to see what the concerns are - just looking at the performance figures the 190 TSI appears to be half a second quicker to 62mph than the 180hp and about half a litre per 100Km more economical, is it the way it drives that's the problem?

Price and spec list on Skoda.co.uk has now been updated to include the 2.0 TSI (still not on the configurator though)

Typical of Skoda UK they publish an updated price guide but forgot to remove the 5 seat versions that they have apparently removed from the UK lineup.

Interesting to see 12 weeks quoted for delivery. My order was taken 1st week of October and had an email from the dealer today saying my build week is 1 week in April and delivery about 4 weeks after that, which by my counting is 12 weeks.

??? I make it nearer 30 weeks from beginning of October to end of April
12 weeks was the average time from order to delivery when I got mine last year. Ordered in January delivered April.

Configurator seems to have been updated now as 2.0tsi appears under L&K option.
The configurator has indeed been updated and showing the 2.0 Tsi on various models. Pity they couldn't be bothered to change the WLTP figures from metric to imperial so you can work out what your looking at here in the UK.

Nice to see the delivery going down to 12w.

I was talking with the dealer today about various engine parameters, and i observed that the new 2.0 TSI 190 has a Nox emission of 50 mg/km, while 2.0 TDI 190 has 59 mg/km, i was surprised by the little difference, since diesel is so criticized in terms of pollution. Do you think there's a mistake in the datasheet or it's true ?

The main reason i'm thinking to pickup tsi is for low emissions, but now i'm not that sure anymore...

Diesel has to some extent been demonised by the repetition in the press (and politically) of figures relating to older power units. The latest models are much, much cleaner but still not equal or better than similar petrol in terms of Nox. The CO2 figures however.........🤔

One of the criticisms of current diesel emissions is that they are good at passing lab tests, but do not perform so well in the real world. The newer RDE emissions test provides a tougher more real world test regime that will change that. However, VW/Skoda do not as far as I know currently have any engines that meet the RDE requirements. http://www.caremissionstestingfacts.eu/rde-real-driving-emissions-test/ I think only Mercedes and Jaguar have any RDE compliant engines so far.

So whilst the TDI looks good on paper with its 59mg/km and the data sheet for driving under lab conditions is likely correct, in real world driving it is likely to produce much more NOx.

All change, just received an email my order has been put back to 11 March, can't keep up with all this backwards and forwards, I wish they would just make their minds up, if I hadn't made a promise to my wife over this car I would tell them to keep it.

I was meaning from now until I supposedly get my car is 12 weeks which is the same amount of time as if I walked into a dealer today and placed my order. Wonder why I ordered in October?

Hello,

For those that picked up the 2.0 TSI 190 version, please post your impressions of the engine, i want to order this version and i saw there are some concerns on other forums regarding the new TSI wltp engines performance.

Thanks a lot.
So where are the concerns posted? Where's the source? back up your post.

Guess he's referring to the 1.5 TSI issues, the kangarooing "affair"
Guess...... posting in a 2.0tsi post would indicate the 2.0tsi engine?
If so, the original poster should therefore tell us all what engine/problems/source they are going on about instead of scaremongering potential new owners of the 2.0tsi Kodiaq without any evidence.

Ordered mine yesterday. Quoted end of April/beginning of May to collect. Great deal. Got 16.33% discount, which amounts to a lot of money as I've added 14 options!
