Picked our new Bear up yesterday 17/11/2017, 150 Tdi DSG ,5 seat SE in pacific blue, factory fitted tow bar [very nice] and spare wheel. we ordered a space saver but it came with a full size but I'm happy with that as we tow a caravan, the dealer thought it may be that they use full size if a tow bar is fitted as in some countries it may be illegal to tow with a space saver.
First impression's, very quiet, smooth ride, very comfortable.

Anyone in Southampton ? The "Morning Caroline" is in the port with my car on board.

Not sure I'd want to be crew on the boat with 4 weeks or so before its next stop in Fremantle.

Evening,
Just picked this up at 1825 Saturday.
Thinking I could pop down with a blanket and a pot of honey for the Bear, I've checked check our Southampton shipping movements and Morning Caroline departed at 15 : 29 this afternoon. So, your Bear is on his way . Don't worry about our weather, the ship is a purpose built car carrier , so all enclosed.

Got some news from Skoda today, was keeping my fingers crossed for an early build date. Have now got an unconfirmed build week 9 date, end of Feb. So, hopefully should have it by late March. Still hoping it might get slipped into an earlier week.....just wishful thinking me thinks!!!

Another black bear!

Picked mine up on Sunday afternoon. It had spent the weekend next to its baby brother (Karoq) at Wings Skoda in Peterborough showing off the Skoda bike rack on the back. It's great!

Picked up my Kodiaq Monday - as you may know, in Australia we get 2.0 TSI or TDI in one specification that includes quite a few options in some markets. We even get the Sleep package and a flat bottomed steering wheel standard. Mine has the Tech and Luxury packs too meaning it has almost every option. Would like the upcoming digital dash though... Changing wheels next.

Finally after 5 months including seat-gate we have collected the Kodiaq 😀😀😀
Final wait of two weeks was for the additional set of Ratikon alloys and Michelin cross climates. The four standard alloys and tyres fit well in the 5 seat boot 😀

My Kodiaq arrived all of a sudden last Wednesday - 3 months before expected delivery. It's a Magnetic brown 2.0 TDI 150 Exclusive (I live in Finland) + some extras.
The light leather interior looks and feels luxurious and the car as a whole is a positive surprise. The only snag is it does not have the alarm system ordered. I'm waiting for word from my dealer...

Ordered my Kodiaq edition 12/02/18. The car in the showroom was in petrol blue, and looked fantastic under the lights. Only problem was that the sales guy told me there was an approximate three month wait for the 7 seat petrol edition delivery. This was no good to me as the contract for my current car expires at the end of March. With the various extras I wanted fitting we scrolled through the list of the cars sitting at the port waiting to come over. The only one that fitted the bill was in metallic moon white. This is not a colour I would have chosen but, hopefully, it'll look great. Certainly looks ok from the photos i've seen posted here. Might take a lot of cleaning, not something I'm a great fan of  but, It'll keep the guys at the local Dobbies employed!
I then got an email from the dealer (Caffyns of Ashford) on the 15th saying that my Kodiaq had arrived in the UK.
So, I'm now just waiting for the beginning of March when I can collect my 18 plate 'new toy'!

Sorry, first post. Just realised this should have gone into the 'awaiting delivery' section. Maybe a moderator can move it? I'm not sure how to.

Got to say the kodiaq looks great in white. Never a colour I have thought about with a car but the kodiaq is smart in white

Hi all,

Picked my Edition up from Horton in Lincoln on Tuesday. What a great handover from Paul, and the best vehicle preparation I have ever known. Super dealership and a great car.

Went after work to pick up our new Sportline 190PS. So far so good. Extras include, heated front screen, space saver, high beam assist and Canton sound system. Dealer through in roof bars and rear carpet.

Well, at last, it's the final countdown! Can't believe it. Just five days and my long awaited Kodi bear will be here. Gutted with a delay at the port and a few other oddities during the wait, but dreams will definitely be sweet for the next four nights. I've read all the tales of just how good this vehicle is. hopefully they will all be right. I'll keep you posted folks. Have a good week.
Dai the books.

...and now I've learned the alarm is there after all, but no button to switch radar off in the door pillar - but a toggle in the Kolumbus menu.
If you are referring to the internal motion detector then the older models had the button on the B pillar but I have been told on the MY18 update it was removed. It can now be deactivated via infotainment system (which is a pain but turns also it off until such time it's turned back on manually - not on restart) or if you double click the lock button it also deactivates it until restart.

Mine is a MY17 model so cannot confirm if this is true but I am sure someone on here can.

That said the only time I can see this feature is useful is if you are leaving a dog in the car, at no time can I see it's justified to leave any animal in a locked car unless you have additional ventilation/cooling systems running. Even in the U.K. it's incredibly easy to cook your pooch.

Had my Edition for 3 days now. Delighted with it so far and already put the 7 seats to use.

After 5 months do you have any regrets regarding the choice of engine MrCanyon?

I've been toying with ordering a SE L with the same engine (same colour as well) but am slightly concerned the 1.5 TSI 150PS might be a little underpowered. The 2.0 TSI 190PS seems incredibly thirsty, so that's not an option and diesels are ruled out as my journeys are mostly less than 15 miles and I'm sure I would have major DPF problems.

If your mileage is low than the mpg isn't going to affect you that much surely? Regardless of that, why don't you just test drive the 2 engines and see how they feel?
FYI my 2.0 TSi (180) typically does low 30s mpg on semi-rural journeys of that length.
