SOS OCU recall

Hi,

Has anyone had their car recalled due to the SOS system/OCU?

Our car threw up a fault last Thursday...a computer lady came over the speakers telling us there was an issue with the SOS system and we needed to book it in.

It's been with the dealer since Tuesday (all been really efficient seemingly so far). They believe it's an issue due to the OCU being faulty, which apparently is a known fault and part of a software recall.

Anyone heard anything about this?

I had a problem in the early days connecting any of the wintering phone buttons.
I spoke with 'Abdul' at Skoda customer services and he sorted it out. I haven't tried the 'plod' button for obvious reasons, but the customer care & breakdown buttons appear to Brett ok.
Goody luck.

Once set up our buttons worked fine as far as we know, until the fault popped up last week and the SOS button turned red.

Got the car back today with the replaced OCU. Surprised no one else has had this issue as it's been part of a recall/service bulletin so we can't have been the first.

The connect system was faulty when I took delivery of my car. Took dealer a while to fix it, but now after just 4 weeks it is back again intermittently. That is not a good early impression of the car

This sounds related to the internal SIM problem. My SOS system is also down, claiming no signal. Kodiaq we're claiming it would need an OCU reset/replacement/somesuch

My SOS button has always been red?? It's red plastic. With a green light to the left of it.
