Took delivery of my Petrol Blue Kodiak on Wednesday. I'm loving the colour and how it changes in different lights.

Nice! I'm looking forward to my L&K. I thought the dashboard is meant to have stitching as described on this skoda storyboard
Skoda changed their mind with this one. Some clients in France got a compensation when they complained for not having it, as we had that in the commercial brochure too. Skoda wanted to do it with the stitching but finally ditched it...so I don't have it. Well, I can live without it :)

@sidzej, how are you finding the 2.0 TSI engine?
I've done only 100 miles, so it is a bit too early to judge :) However, the first impressions are very good and somewhat similar to my previous experience with Octavia and 1.8TSI DSG a few years back. In between I was driving two CX-5's with Diesel engine, so it is definitely nice to be back in the "petrol" world :)

I love that colour combo and have had 2 Skodas in petrol and beige leather.
Foxtrot Alpha won't agree. ;)

Looks good. The photos are in bright sunlight. What's it like under an overcast sky? More typical in the UK?
In typical 'grungy' British weather it goes quite dark, but I think it's worth it for when the sun does shine. There's only one colour to beat it imho and that is the Mazda pearlescent red, similarly in some Renaults. But of course, with Skodas pathetic choice of colours, we can't get anything as exciting unfortunately.

I tend to take the view that bold colours suit smaller cars or it becomes rather overwhelming, or underwhelming if dull. Thus I stick to silver, although I suspect silver does not tend to suit smaller cars. Silver I think looks good in all lighting conditions and is neutral so I don't tire of it and it doesn't stand out which I suppose reflects my view of cars, something there for a purpose, no fuss.

+1 for the Soul red metallic Mazda colour. Really wanted the CX-5 to meet my criteria, but lack of front isofix & the smaller boot was a deal breaker.

When picking the colour for the bear I got sold by the marketing, petrol blue on a beach, and the greys & silvers just said Co. car to me. But if we all thought the same it would be a boring world.

As for the interior, I'm used to black interiors, my last 3 cars were all dark headliners (93 Cab, A3 & A5 Cab) & cream leather with the kids was just too much of a gamble. The beige leather in my 93 was really good, but think the quality of Vag leather isn't as good. Sold my 93 with 95k on the clock and the leather had hardly worn.

Mine is silver and not a company car. A Superb says company car to me, it never occurred to me when buying the Kodiaq that it would be a company car sort of car.

I also would have liked a Mazda X5, in Soul red, but like you the smaller boot (and non turbo) saved me from deserting Skoda after 7of them.

Probably psychological, a previous incarnation of the company I work for pushed car colours silver, black & whatever was in between. My old A5 Cab was monza silver so also probably needed to change, in my head.
